Our client, a premier, global law firm, is looking for a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator/Assistant. This role would work on research for competitive & business intelligence, substantive content composition, and analysis of market data for Marketing & BD campaigns.
This position is ideal for someone currently working as a Paralegal at a Biglaw firm who wants to transition into something more strategic and marketing-focused and get out of the paralegal role/lifestyle. Excellent opportunity for growth!
Responsibilities:
-Draft pitches and proposals and responses to RFPs, working on key marketing collateral
-Work with firm leadership and associates to develop strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns, collect relevant information, and edit final proposals to be disseminated to specific parties
-Collect, refine and maintain marketing materials for various practices and group -Maintain records of proposals and fees
-Evaluate strengths of each group and potential opportunities, including industry or market trends and develop comparisons between competitors as they relate to Business Developments’ efforts
-Track internal and external metrics with regards to target lists
-Prepare reports on various companies, clients and internally
-Create, edit, and disseminate biographies on Firm professionals
-Attend group meetings and prepare agendas and minutes with regards to such meetings
-Assist in the league table submissions, award submissions, and thought leadership/profile increasing initiatives
-Work with the Events team to coordinate external and internal events
Educational requirements:
-Bachelors’ degree, preferably from prestigious institution
Experience requirements:
-Professional services experience, preferably of Paralegal or Legal Assistant background
